The J. Jill Compassion Fund was established in June 2002 and is the central depository for philanthropic giving by the J. Jill Group. A donor-advised fund of the Boston Foundation, the J. Jill Compassion Fund provides the company with a simple and efficient way to support nonprofit organizations across the country.

Mission Statement

The J. Jill Compassion Fund is committed to providing support to community-based organizations that help poor and homeless women become self-sufficient. J. Jill, a national women’s clothing retailer based in Quincy, MA, gives to organizations not only in its local area, but across the country, as well. Since 2002, J. Jill compassion fund grants have supported more than 25 organizations that help women to empower themselves and change their lives. Read about Compassion Fund grant guidelines.
