Hingham, MA, February 1, 2008 — Leading specialty retailer Talbots will celebrate the opening of three new stores during the month of February 2008, including a Talbots Petites store in Ormond Beach, Fla., a Talbots Outlet store in Woburn, Mass., and a Talbots Woman store in Chevy Chase, Md.

• Ormond Beach, Fla. - A 2,535-square-foot Talbots Petites will join an existing Talbots (Misses) store at The Trails Shopping Center on North Nova Road. Opening Friday, February 1, at 10 am, the new store will offer an extensive selection of classic clothing designed to fit the proportions of a woman 5’4” and under.



• Woburn, Mass. - A 12,645-square-foot Talbots Outlet store offering previous season’s merchandise at reduced prices will open Friday, February 1, at 10 am at the Woburn Mall. This will mark the opening of the company’s second Outlet location in Massachusetts and its 24th Outlet nationwide.



• Chevy Chase, Md. - The company will move its existing Talbots and Talbots Petites to a new location at The Shops at Wisconsin Place and open a 2,640-square-foot Talbots Woman store offering classic clothing designed to fit a fuller figure in woman’s and woman’s petite sizes. A grand opening reception will be held Thursday evening, February 21, from 5:30 pm to 8 pm, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and drawing at 7 pm.
