Hingham, MA, May 07, 2008 – Leading specialty retailer Talbots is opening five stores in May 2008, including a new Talbots (Misses), two Talbots Petites and two Talbots Woman locations. Additionally, the company is moving two existing locations.
Opens Three-Concept Location in Cummings, GA
- Cummings, GA- The Company is opening adjacent Talbots, Talbots Petites and Talbots Woman stores at The Avenue Forsyth. Occupying a combined total of 8,000 square-feet, the new three-concept location opens Wednesday, May 14, at 10 am, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and drawing starting at 11 am.
Celebrates New Homes in Lincolnshire, IL and Cherry Hill, NJ
- Lincolnshire, IL - The existing Talbots and Talbots Petites stores at Hawthorne Center in Vernon Hills is moving about four miles south to a new location at Lincolnshire Commons in Lincolnshire. The existing stores close May 15th at 6 pm and reopen in Lincolnshire the following morning (Friday, May 16th) at 10am. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and drawing is being held at 11 am that morning.
- Cherry Hill, NJ – The existing Talbots and Talbots Petites stores at Cherry Hill Mall are moving to Towne Place at Garden State Park, where the company is also opening a brand new Talbots Woman store. Occupying a combined total of 8,000 square feet, the new three-concept location officially opens Thursday evening, May 22, with a shopping reception from 5:30 pm to 8 pm and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7 pm. In conjunction with this opening, the existing stores at Cherry Hill Mall officially close the previous evening, May 21, at 6pm.
Adds Talbots Petite in Destin, FL
- Destin, FL - A 2,500-square-foot Talbots Petites opened next to the company’s existing Talbots store at 4230 Legendary Drive on Friday morning, May 2.
Each of the new stores offers a selection of timeless options that can be adapted for casual, career and dressier end uses. Talbots (Misses) stores offer Misses and Petite sizes. Talbots Petites stores carry a deeper selection of styles designed to fit the proportions of a woman 5’4” and under. Talbots Woman stores offer clothing tailored to fit and flatter a fuller figure in both Woman’s and Woman’s Petites sizes.
